Angry Banned Members.

I see that young CoinJoe2006,who recently won the Week 40 contest has now got himself banned.I wonder why.How many other members have got themselves banned & why?

I can count on one hand the number of people we've had to ban from CoinTalk. There are two reasons we've banned people here, first it's the spammers, and second it's people who've been overly abusive with other members. In every case, we've given ample warnings, and given multiple chances for the member to cease the behavior. The two cardinal rules that I insist upon for CoinTalk are first that it's a spam-free zone, and second that members are respectful of one another. I will not compromize on those rules. Second chances, yes, third chances, yes, but beyond that it quickly becomes obvious that a person has no intention of playing nice.

Sad to see anyone banned but I guess the "rules are the rules". Society has to abide by rules to be civil but it's a hard long road. Sorry to see anyone go.

Too right,a member is right to be banned for posting spam.I hate getting spam of any description.I'm lucky that I don't get any of that terrible porn spam at all,as my email filter is extremely strong.
