Proofs can acquire some spectacular and gorgeous toning, especially copper proofs. Here's a new proof I just picked up - let's see some of your pretty toned proofs! p.s. This proof is raw but I will be sending it to PCGS in a couple weeks - what do you think it will grade? Even all the silver toned proofs are amazing - thanks for sharing! I would love to have that 1909 proof come back 66, but I'd be happy with 65 too. I'll be sure to let you all know when I get it back, but it will be a month or so.
