Advice with silver investing

I am new to silver investing, but I have a large collection passed to me by my father. I am very interested in buying much more silver but am unfamiliar with the best places to buy. Any advice?

The American Silver Eagle coin is one once of silver. It will carry a small premium over spot, but can be a good silver investment.

I have some silver buffalo bullion coins that have the letters "QSB" in small print beside the indian's head. They are beautiful rounds with almost a mirror finish. They say "ONE TROY OUNCE" and ".999+ FINE SILVER." Does anyone know where they come from? I would like more of them.

yes james, they were made by Quality Silver Bullion company, a private mint out of Utah. In checking with the company, presently they are selling at .97 over spot today only, no minimum. Normally, it's $1.25 over spot with a twenty piece min.

Thank you so much! I will make sure to call them today! I don't have a ton of extra cash right now but I will definately take advantage of the 97 cent special. Is it the qualitysilverbullion.com web address? That's the one I will call. Thanks again!

Thank you all for your help! It seems like I have endless questions! I have a friend with this bar and I am not sure where it came from. It has a symbol on it, and I just would like to know who made it. Any Ideas?

I copy and pasted an image and it appears on my screen. How can I place an image so that everyone can see it? I'll try again. He got it off of ebay and we are just trying to figure out the source. I figured ya'll would know!

With the silver market going down recently, I have found the spead to be more around $2 - $2.25 for bars over spot. Unless you get more than 100oz. Does this seem reasonable?
