Help !!!

my shift key on my toshiba laptop came off......how do i reattach it? using caps lock works in a pinch but this is getting to be a pain and a hassle

LOL! On mine you just push it back on with your finger. Directly on top. I clean out my keyboard every couple months and it's no hassle.

On a laptop that can be a big PIA. What is the model? Sometimes it is not repairable and the keyboard has to be replaced. It detaches as a unit.

it says toshiba satellite......it is a newer one, a billion gigs of this and a billion gigs of that......

i blew it off with my workplace shop air......to much i guess, i was in a hurry because a bunch of hot metal chips landed on it

do as snaz says just put it back in its like putting a coin in 2x2 the first time - you will get a hang of it just dont push to hard and break it
