My two best guesses:

$1

or

Current price of silver.

Unles sI am wrong (very possible) we will need a lot more info about this Dollar. What is pictured on the front and back? Worth also depends on condition.

A picture always helps.

The front of the coin has a Greek? lady on the front of it with a crown on her head made of wheat and ivy the top says E Pluribus Unum the back has an Eagle with wheat three quarters of the way around and IN God We Trust at the top of the Eagle the coin is in good shape

Howdy Banker99 - Welcome to the Forum !!

The value of any coin is dependent on a few things - condition, mintage, mint mark if any etc etc. If you can post a pic we can be of more help.

I am at work right now and do not have access to a camera but I thought that maybe you all might be able to shed some light!! We have several Customers that turn in coins that we feel are worth something and we try to tell them but they just want face value so we buy them and try to figure out what they are worth. I wish I had your knowledge, maybe Ill try to post some pics one coin at a time and try to test your skills thanks for trying to help!!

At the very least, any US dime, quarter, half dollar or dollar with a date of 1964 or earlier is worth about 4 to 5 times face value for just the silver content alone. That's at the present time anyway - if the price of silver changes up or down the value of the coins changes with it.

But that's for a coin that can be beat to death or worn almost smooth. For coins in better condition - my previous comment applies.

By all means, post some pics - we'll be glad to help out
