I never said you were lying. I'd like to see a picture of it. The value is completely based on its condition and what note it is. All $10K notes are not the same. It could also be a counterfeit. We would need a picture to make ANY judgment about the note.

Good, because that was an obvious fake that I posted. Did it look like this?

If it's torn in half and really does look like it would turn to dust if you touched it, then your best bet would be to turn it in at a bank (if you can find one who will take it) or send it to the Fed for face value. Still need to see a picture first to know for sure.

If it doesn't look like that one does it look more like this?

I wouldn't turn it in if it's real. Even torn in half, I'd imagine there would be desire for the note and it would be worth more than its face value.

I would think so too, but I'm combining "torn in half" with "looks like it would turn to dust if you touched it". I don't know any collector that's going to tie up $10,000+ for a note that looks like that! Still though...POST A PIC!

I don't know, those notes are VERY rare. If authenticated, I could see someone buying it. Even if it only went for 10% over face, that's still an extra $1000.

Remember, the highest printed $10000 FRN only had 11,520 notes printed!

it looks like the jackson one, because the guy is on the left but you cant see the serial number or the other text, except you can make out 'united states',

Could be interesting. Technically those notes have been cancelled and aren't even legal to own. They aren't worth face value, but do have value to collectors. In the condition you describe however, it not likely worth too much.
