Thanks all for the hello's and intro's ;o).. Hope everyone is fit and well this fine evening ..
Well i have had a reply from the 'what it's worth' section. Two very interesting ones actually.
The first one from John giving a great explanation of the coin (there's a lot of info there) and very informative. And the other explanation from Peter who tells me he is pretty sure it may be a fake, which is a real shame.
Now i'm a bit of a fantasist and i prefer Johns answer lol.. (wouldn't we all? )
But Peter has taken the time out to find out for me. Now i'm not going to lie to my neighbour but i am going to leave that slight detail out lol..
If he ever wants it valued at any point in the future i'm sure he will find out then. But until then i'm going to stay excited with him and show him the details off John..
Bad girl? Noooooo
oO(maybe the fake was made in the same year , 1562 and its a 447 year old fake... Bonus !!! ) lmao..

This history thing is fab.. i'm wondering, with it being 1500's or rather 16th century would it still be medieval? when did that era stop? I can feel a google coming on ;o)

ahaa it seems to have ended mid to late 15th century , so this coin missed it..

Thanks again all ...
