My Mood:  | NHL playoff beard contest!
Alright everyone, I will be throwing an NHL beard growing contest this year!
I'm not quite sure what the prize will be, but I will attempt to make it hockey related.
This is pretty much just a bonus if you already plan on growing one.
What is going to happen is the Grow-off will start on the Vancouver Canucks first game, So everyone starts freshly shaven on that day.
You MUST post a picture of your freshly shaven face the day of ( or close to the day, whatever) and periodically provide update pictures.
I realize online pictures of people are not up everyones alley, so just nose - neck pictures will be accepted, or heck, PM pictures will even be accepted.
I realize most people shave off their beards once their team is knocked out, but I tend to just go for the long haul.
The prize will be awarded to whoever has the best beard come the end of the season.
There will need to be at least 5 people signed up for me to send out a prize at the end.
I hope some people sign up for this!

LOL allready begun mate as soon as I found out the Hawks had qualified    You have no idea just how long I have waited for this LOL specialy as the Mrs is a Wings fan

I am a big hockey fan and actually tried that one. Wife hated it and beards just too itchy for me. Thanks for the contest anyways. Go Flyers!

I got a nice chin strap that i've had since i was probably 14....so i'm not gonna shave it off. 10 years on my face...it's practically a friend lol but nice contest anyway it should be fun

So it sounds like this really isn't going to fly.. That surprises me. EVERYONE here shaves all the facial hair off and grows a playoff beard.
