I will be going on a little bit of a vacation in May so I might have to shave but we'll see, I'll not too!
I very rarely really shave so mine will be going as well but let's look at this realistically. If we don't shave until our team wins the cup we MAY look like ZZTop!

Love my Hawks but don't think they'll do it THIS year. Boston looking real tough to me as long as Thomas can keep up his antics between the pipes.

AJ , you sound like my son , who I must of dropped on his head during hockey season , How I could raise a Redwing fan in Chicago , oh the shame of it all .

But about the Mohawk , I'm funnylooking enough with a regular haircut , that's my way of saying , I'm a chicken .

Oh you crazy kids.

I am a lifelong Hawks fan but also a realist. I don't think this is the year but it's coming (I'd also be THRILLED if I"m wrong). Young talent and good management which is something we are definitely NOT used to.

DeadWings. How I hate them BUT another good team with a lot of experience. This year may be there last hurrah. Gotta admit I hope Chelios plays tills he's 60.

Hawks vs. Canucks. Should be a good series. Plenty of offensive flash and get this I have never hated the Canucks. Whoever wins I hope goes all the way.

San Jose is history and that really didn't surprise me.

In the east the Caps came back to win against New York. I expect them to fail. A team can only depend on offense for so long in the playoffs.
The Penguins? Good but not good enough I'm afraid.
Carolina is a pleasant surprise and hungry. Kinda like the Hawks.

Bottom line though is getting through Boston and that is one hell of a balanced and disciplined team.

I'm putting Boston in the Cup and ?. Hey, I have to leave room for the Hawks just in case.

BTW Snaz,

Nice beard! I was gonna take a picture of mine but kept tripping over it and finally gave up.

As much as I hate to say this I woudnt count the Wings out not till they loose game seven LOL the Mrs is a die hard Wings fan so we have some slight friction here As for Chelios is he actualy a man or a machine LOL he seems to be one of these guy's who has been around forever

Deadwings. Gotta love the jealousy with that. There isn't a sports team (ANY SPORTS) that would not love to have had the same results the wings have had in the last 10-12 years. Watch for them to go deep in the playoffs again this year. As for the last hurrah, I don't see Hossa leaving, he likes being on a winning team. Players WANT to come and play for the Wings because they WIN! The Hawks have a decent team and they may go another round in the playoffs but I am afraid thats where the journey shall end this year. Clembo is right, they are geared and built for the future.

Clembo , gotta agree with everything you say , Blackhawks in a year or two . But I think it'll be the Deadwings again with them over Boston in the finals .
