series 1963 kennedy dollar bill

A friend of mine came across one of these and wonder about their worth if any. So I thought I would ask for some info. Very bizzare coincedence I think, is there a market for these?

Series 1963 $1 Notes were issued in Series 1963, 63 A, and 63B
All have the face of GW on them as they do today. The sigs are as follows:

1963 Granahan/Dillion
63 A Granahan/Fowler
63 B Granahan/Barr

I do not know of a Kennedy $1 Note issued by the USA.

Andrew,

Are you referring to a Series 1963 $1 bill from the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank. Dallas happens to be the 11th Federal Reserve Bank and denoted by '11' and the letter 'K' which some say refer to November (the 11th month and the month Kennedy was killed in Dallas) and Kennedy. It's purported to all be part of a grand conspiracy.

Andrew...in the event you are referring to the normal District designation of # 11 or the letter "K" the amount of notes issuesd for each series is as follows:

(1963) 85,760,000 1963 Stars 8,960,000

(1963 A ) 288,960,000 1963 A Stars 19,184,000

(1963 B ) "Barr Notes" only issued by NY, Richmond, Chicago, Kansas City and San Francisco

Yes thats what I am talking about. I found a very small article on this and figured it to be a big coincedence with the whole 11 times four equal how old Kennedy was when he was assasinated thing. Just wondering if it had any worth beacause of all this. Thanks Hobo

Does not matter..just do not photo shop them to death so we can try to see the note as it is...Scanners do a great job of covering up folds and minor distractions as well....

Post away, would love to see them..

I also have this same bill and would like to know the value, but cannot find anything. I also have a $2 bill from 1928 with a red seal in great condition... if anyone has some input shoot me an email at Jewels_79@ymail.com

jewels, first off, let me welcome you to the forum. Secondly, let me suggest you not publicly display your email adress liek that. spammers and the like browse all public pages to harvest anythign liek that to use to their advantage i woudl suggest to ask folks to PM you instead

the $1 note you speak of is most likely worth a whole buck. we would need images to tell if it has value above that. The $2 red seal would carry more of a premium, but again.. pics are really needed.
