Greetings from the Land of Lincoln.
Been interested in coins for a long time... used to check in on my Mom's collection when I was young. I don't remember ever spending any, but who knows.
I became interested in Silver Bullion about 9 years ago when my brother was buying silver rounds for around $4 - $5 and selling them for around $9 - $11 on eBay!
Well, the return is no longer quite as good and the price over spot is definitely no longer just 50 cents, but I still sell on eBay. However, I am becoming a major (? LOL) Silver Bullion Dealer offline and off of eBay and if you haven't heard of AshcraftCoin up till now... I am sure you will a lot in the future if you are interested in Silver Bullion.
Recently I have been attending Coin Shows in Illinois including a recent one in Collinsville, IL. (Nice one... satisfied with turnout, facilities, etc.)
Also, I am helping a business partner (another Mike) promote his Coin Show / Auction in New Berlin, Illinois coming up March 21st, 2009 and future dates planned. See my signature or the ads I will post once I hit 10 posts! LOL It is the day before the CINA Spring Coin Show in Springfield, IL. If you are coming to either one, feel free to PM me and maybe we can meet up at one of the shows and chit chat about coins or bullion or whatever.
However, that is not the only reason I have joined... just to promote my own interests. Review my recent posts and you will see some good responses. I hope I can add some valuable content to the bullion discussions here at CoinTalk.com and I hope to help more than a few people along the way.
