Eh... the Lincoln dollar emanated a strong "buy me!" vibe that this one just doesn't for me. It's not all that exciting a design really and just doesn't motivate me to care about owning one.

I wouldn't bet on this becoming significantly more valuable than the Lincoln dollar... mintage will be somewhat lower but demand for it will be much lower. These days modern comemmoratives are minted in basically the quantity the market will bear and there are very few modern commemoratives that are significantly more valuable than their initial issue price. (Because I'm sure someone will mention it... let me point out that the 2001 Buffalo dollar is clearly the exception, not the rule... Mint underestimated the demand for that one big time. Any of the gold comemmoratives have only increased in value because of their gold content.)

the good or bad result of the modern commemoratives can be known within a month. that is to say during the pre-issue period.

Same as thread "10% braille"

Louis Braille Bicentennial Uncirculated Silver Dollar in
Easy-Open Capsule

“ABOUT 10% OF THE BLIND CAN READ BRAILLE!”

WOULD YOU, IF YOU COULD PUT THE EASY- OPENING CAPSULE TO USE?

MAYBE FOR ITS TACTILE FEATURES?
MAYBE FOR THE BLIND TO OBSERVE
(TEXTDOT PASTE NOT WORKING)

SAME AS THREAD "10% BRAILLE"
