Sorry if in the wrong section, wasn't sure where to put it. I have a few like this where it is cleaner in the middle and still dark aroung the edge. Pretty new and not sure if it is sure sign they were cleaned or common. thx for any tips.

I agree the first coin looks like it may have been cleaned, but I really don't know much about those coins.

The second coin I would stay away from: First because there is no pic of the obv. Second The buyer doesn't have a return policy on the auction.

Something people who use ebay should understand. Even if the seller has no refund policy stated, when you use paypal you are covered by their buyer protection. If your coin arrives significantly not as described (snad).
File a dispute. For items $250. and less send it back with delivery confirmation. Over $250. use signature confirmation.
This is a huge headache for sellers since they can no longer neg buyers.

Always remember to access the cleaning along with the grade, age and condition as it now appears - short answer, It looks like it should for date and wear. Or, if it had not been cleaned or treated at some point you would not even be able to see it now.

yeah, i figured it was too, being new I don`t really know much about identifying the cleaned ones. Just to know before hand and then find all the scratches when coins arrive. I wasn`t planning on bidding on these anyway, just used as examples, thx for the tips.

I myself would not buy a cleaned coin, that said if you do ask if the seller is selling it at the full value ( not cleaned ) then it is not a good buy! If the seller understands that it has been cleaned and that is reflected in his asking price and you like it then buy it! Just my opinion but who wants to be the last one holding a worthless coin?
