Mis-printed Dollar Bill

Hey there. Through random transactions, I received a one dollar bill where a relatively small section on the top right of the front of the bill is not printed, almost as if there was a paper scrap on top of the sheet the moment it entered the press and blocked the ink being transferred from the press to that portion of the paper. Additionally, there is also an ink smudge next to that (definitely an error from the production process because the actual type is smeared).

Is there any additional value to this dollar bill, other than it's normal currency value, and if so, can anyone estimate what this may be worth?

You should post a pic of both sides of the bill so we can better determine value.

Yes there is added value on these. It is most likely a blank crease error. That means the paper was creased prior to printing and now is missing some of the printing!!

Welcome to the forum!!

just thinking out loud.. but if this were in the paper section... it might recieve more attention

The missing ink would command a premium if authentic. The ink smudge could aslo if for the same reason. The best way to determine all that is with images. If possible please post some i would lvoe to see the note!
