found this at work today

I'm not sure where it goes cuz it's not U.S. coin and not ancient either. Oh well. It's a 1957 100 Lire Italiana coin. Any idea if it's worth anything?

it goes in the World & Ancient coin section. I am sure Doug will move it if need be.
I dont know the value but it is always cool finding strange world coins in circulation.

I thought that it might but wasn't sure. Thanks for moving it for me. You're right it is neat to find foreign coins here in circulation. Probably not worth anything but had to ask.

Somewhere between 25 cents and 4 dollars if itīs cirkulated. If the coin is UNC its worth 50 dollars.

Thanks. It's circulated. I paid .50 for it because I got it from our changer bag at work and somehow it had made its way into our half dollar bag so I had to replace it with a half dollar.

Many people have to spend $$$ to make themselves happy. What is really great in coin collectiong is that one can reach happiness with .50 buck.
kdkenn, you've travelled cheap, congratulations
