My Mood: | Roosevelt Dimes from the Lehigh Collection
Up for sale this week are 10 toned Roosevelt Dimes. I will list a description, price, and photo for each coin. Anyone interested in a particular coin should send me a PM. The prices listed are fair IMO, but I will entertain reasonable offers on any coin listed. If you would like additional photos, including slab photos, please PM me as well. I will offer an unconditional 30 day return policy to any CT member that buys one of my coins, however I will not pay for return shipping. Coin#1: Roosevelt Dime 1946 NGC MS65*----------Price: $130 (10X Numismedia Wholesale) Vibrant yellow/gold, magenta, and emerald green grace the obverse of this little gem. The reverse has a small crescent of rainbow toning as well. Not quite a monster but certainly deserving of a hefty premium. (Numismedia Wholesale $13)
Coin#2: Roosevelt Dime 1947-S NGC MS67----------Price: $75 This coin displays a mottled obverse of gunmetal blue and brown. The reverse is toned almost entirely in deep yet vibrant cobalt blue. (Numismedia Retail $76)
Coin#3: Roosevelt Dime 1947-S NGC MS67----------Price: $55 Lightly speckled on both sides with charcoal and green, this highly lustrous premium gem is sure to please at a discount price. (Numismedia Wholesale $61)
Coin #4: Roosevelt Dime 1949 NGC MS67----------Price: $70 A legitimate rarity with a population of only 283/4. This coin has deep blue-violet toning dominating the obverse with a wisp of light russet on the reverse. A fully lustrous premium gem at a discount price. (Numismedia Wholesale $80)
Coin#5: Roosevelt Dime 1950-D NGC MS65 FT----------Price: $30 A coin with something to offer every collector. A lustrous essentially untoned obverse, gem surfaces, FT for the strike conscious collector, and beautiful reverse rainbow colors for the toning enthusiast.
Coin#6: Roosevelt Dime 1950-S NGC MS67----------Price: $50 Interestingly toned with mottled orange-brown and violet on the obverse and cool blue on the reverse. A well struck lustrous premium gem with an abundance of originality. (Numismedia Wholesale $59)
Coin#7: Roosevelt Dime 1951 NGC MS66----------Price: $30 The obverse of this dime is very attractively toned in shades of russet, lime green, magenta, and yellow. The reverse bears a markedly different scheme of dark blue, violet and cyan over silvery surfaces. (Numismedia Retail $29)
Coin#8: Roosevelt Dime 1953 NGC MS66----------Price: $70 (4X Numismedia Wholesale) Spectacularly toned on the obverse in gorgeous bands of cherry red, emerald green, orange, bright yellow. The reverse is less dramatically toned but does have blushes of violet, blue, and russet in the fields. (Numismedia Wholesale $17)
Coin#9: Roosevelt Dime 1953 NGC MS66----------Price: $30 Another 1953 Rosie with dramatic toning on the obverse just not as attractive. Ocean blue, violet, and orange make for an original piece. The reverse has blushes of ocean blue and chestnut at the peripheries. (Numismedia Wholesale $17)
Coin#10 Roosevelt Dime 1953-D NGC MS67----------Price: $40 Another coin with a real claim to rarity with a population of 235/2. Essentially untoned save some wisps of charcoal on the obverse. (Numismedia Wholesale $48)
Most of the Morgan Dollars are available from last week's sale as well. Please feel free to make offers, the worst I can say is no. |
