Change is coming

to Coin Talk. Pardon the pun, but it's time for the next round of upgrading.

Assuming that you are done, my comments;
Most pages are not wide enough to have 2 columns. Having your new column on my home page or CT's home page could be useful, but trying to read thread at half width is no fun and it reduces the picture size.
I like the "buddy list" (although not at every page), but please put something else next to the PM button. I assure you that I will more than once hit the "remove from buddy list" button more trying to PM someone.
Why does the "buddy list" only show those on line at the moment. If I want to go to their page, PM them, or even remove them, what difference does it make if they are on line. How about indicating on line by a star, color, or similar.

Sorry, Peter, I don't care for the "Advertise Here" column... I like the idea of the buddy list, but that column has got to GO!

I don't like it.
It crams
everything
into a narrow
column. It
will make
it more difficult
to read posts
and to post
photos.

This reminds
me of the
cable TV
channel with
the program
listings. The
screen is 75%
advertizing
and 25%
TV listings.

We've been thru several changes at CT. Soon enough you'll get comfortable with it.

I did not like the last change either, but now like it. You should see what they've done to the hotsauce blog, much more radical than this, and it wears on you eventually.

Peter, I have to agree, I feel like I'm scanning the TV listings on cable.

I agree I like it everywhere except the screen where you read the topic. It squished everything a bit too much.

I'm starting to get used to it, though, and I do like the quick access to the new posts. It wouldn't hurt none if I had a wider monitor, though.
