Thanks for posting that. I love war nickels. I like your westward pics too. The westward journey series are also some of the only modern circulated coins I really like from a design standpoint.

I agree with that. The Westward Journey is a sleeper IMO because those designs were really nice.

Because now anybody who wants to visit his list can. Nothing wrong with this - even though it could be handled either way. Sometimes it takes some of us a while to find a post. And then it seems someone tags you for "digging an old post up" or someone tags you for starting a new post for something already covered. One of them no-win situations.

I have been pulling nickels from circulation for about 3 months now
going to have to go get a book for them sooner or later.
been finding a lot of really nice examples lately that I just could not
put back into circulation.
