What is Thread Of The Week?
Thread of the Week is a contest that select posts on which we would like the community to commit to as a group and then comment/discuss on them during the course of the selected week. Any listed topic (thread) is eligible for the Thread of the Week selection.

Thumbs up I'm form the Bronx

Hey Mr Brooklyn, I just joined the other day. Lots of nice people here. My eye caught your phrase, "CEO of Brooklyn." There's got to be a story behind that one, no?
I was born in the West Bronx, about eight or so blocks from Yankee Stadium. A lot of good memories as a boy in the '50s. Lived in Corona, Queens, until '77 and moved to Connecticut for work after college. Spent a few years hanging out in Bayridge while my mom was dating a real sweet guy from the area. I'm half Irish, half Italian, so I was somewhat welcome in the neighborhood.
My favorite coin is Silver Eagles, behind that, Morgans.

Yes there is a story behind it. See crackmonkey and CEO of Brooklyn in Google.
