merc 1945 s double die date

here is a odd one the date is clearly double but therest of the coin is barely noticeable on the DD

Hi Snake eyes, it looks like machine doubling due to the flattened secondary date. It is something all of us variety hunters have a hard time at first.

I must atest that alot of machine doublings have had the best of me lately. It has helped me though to distinguish the differences. Keep it up and good luck.
