btw i came across a 1r coin (with cross) i.e 1 r coin with the same cross desgin as in 2 r coin..again this may be a very common coin but first time i have seen it.. the most common are the ones with wheat and other with 1 finger hand with bangles

1rs coin with the cross

1rs coin with the bangle hand and raised finger

Both the above coins are quite common in circulation, but the former one is what i saw for the first time yesterday with a star mint mark (of SK or Noida?).... as they say... if i have how rare can it be

well ur totally wrong u can find great coins in circulation. never doubt or shortchange yourself if its a dot under 2005 then its noida if its a star then its hyderabad and getting a good 2005 is quite difficult.

now look at the 2007 rupee
there are 3 bangles and its quite difficult to find coins where all 3 bangles are perfectly stuck sometimes the bangles will be weakly struck sometimes they will merge together to form a bracelet and a completely different design

BTW i am impressed with the pics
