Egypt 2 piastres, 1335/1917. Nice toning on that one, and looks like clash marks on the reverse (first picture).

These coins, specifically 2, 5, 10, and 20 piastres, are 90% silver and minted in AH 1335.

Egypt was nominally a possession of the Ottoman Empire until World War I, though effectively occupied by the British. However, since Constantinople chose an alliance with Germany, it forfeited any dominance of Egypt at the war's outset. The British then installed their own puppet 'sultan' on the throne, whose name appears on these coins (Sultan Hussain Kamil). The asencion date of Kamil is AH 1333 (1914 AD), which is the date appearing on the obverse. The reverse of this coin type shows both the hijra year (always 1335) and Christian year (either 1916 or 1917) of the minting.
