Help id a token?

Group,
I am not at all sure what this is, but I assume that it is not a coin. It has almost no writing on it and even that, I cannot make out. It is 25mm. Anyone have any idea what it is? Have you even seen this before? Is it possibly a game token?

Thanks,
-Daniel

Daniel,

One quick question, not that I have any idea where this came from, but is there any edge lettering?

Regards,
Stan

Stan,
Good question - I had not looked.

No, it is a reeded edge. And it has medallion rotation (forgot to mention that).

Thanks,
-Daniel

One of these showed up on a CT thread a while ago. I don't recall anything was concluded other than it is most probably a fantasy piece.
