Smile Newbie from Washington, the state

Hello everyone,

I've gotten much more involved in coins and nickels especially this winter. I've bought thousands of nickels on Ebay, with some really nice coins, and some junk of course. My wife calls me "nickel nut". Jeffersons are my interest.
Nice to meet you all. Bob_99208 is my Ebay ID. My real name is Jeff.
I joined the group to try and get some feedback on a coin I got out of a roll of dealer stock. It's a 1942-D with an odd mint mark, like some sort of variation on the D over D.

Welcome to Coin Talk, someone will always have the info on questiions you have. Thousands of coins, that is a lot of coins. Sorry, but I'm going to have to agree with the wife on this one.

Welcome to CT Jeff, it's great to have you join us. Do you have any pics you can post of the coin in question? I'm sure someone here can help you. Once again, welcome.
