Didn't notice any slowdowns or anything odd here in Michigan. Dang there are ads at the bottom of the page, never looked down there before. I have noticed AJ's banner though.

AJ's banner appears at the top, I do see that. I never scroll lower than the last post though, so I never see the rest - and could care less to anyway.

Me too, I had never noticed them until someone said something in this thread.

I only noticed them when they caused the page to spin out of control

So I got curious and checked the stats on those square ads in the bottom. So far this month, they've earned CoinTalk a grand total of $0.41. So, I figure I may as well just delete them. Keeping Ruben happy is probably worth $0.41. lol

I think I clicked one once

Only the Google text ads pay each time they're clicked, but Google wouldn't like me anymore if I encouraged anyone to click the ads, so only click those if you're seriously interested in what's being advertised. The Amazon links, the Ebay links, the banners on top, y'all can click away at those to your heart's content. If you're buying something from our sponsors, like Jack's banner on top, be sure to say thanks for supporting CoinTalk when you're buying.

Pete, I didn't want you too lose any revenue streams. I'll send you a private message in a few minutes.

that is the least they can give you for charging you for a slow dialup account
And Dial-up is about $5-$10 more than DSL...
