Exhibit: British Virgin Island One Dollar Coin, 2008 and 2009 By Chery Kubicko

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Virgin_Islands

The Virgin Islands were first settled by the Arawak from South America around 100 BC (though there is some evidence of Amerindian presence on the islands as far back as 1500 BC).[2] The Arawaks inhabited the islands until the fifteenth century when they were displaced by the more aggressive Caribs, a tribe from the Lesser Antilles islands, after whom the Caribbean Sea is named.

Obverse

The obverse features the Twin Towers with "Lest we Forget" at the base of the buildings. "11th Sept" is on the left, "2001" is on the right, and "$1"

After edited it in my software

Here is a other photo, I used the Effect Section, I chose the Negative effect. Notice the glow that is caused by the light on the coin and around the outside edges.

I noticed that I have taken of photo of the obverse in a Different Light on 01/05/2008. I was able to edit it in Microsoft Picture it software

Here is the original photo

Notice the color, inside a 2x2 holder and on my desk with a cheap lamp (I use for reading).

H.M. Queen Elizabeth II has been the reigning Monarch of the United Kingdom since 1952. She was proclaimed Queen on 6 February 1952 following the death of her father, King George VI whilst she was in the African retreat of Treetops – it is said that she went up a Princess and came down a Queen. Her Majesty was formally crowned the next year, on 2 June 1953. Queen Elizabeth’s husband Prince Philip is from the Royal Family of Greece and was created Duke of Edinburgh before his wedding to Princess Elizabeth on the 20th November 1947. Elizabeth and Philip have four children, Prince Charles who is now heir to the throne was born in 1948, Princess Anne was born in 1950, Prince Andrew was born in 1960 and Prince Edward was born in 1964.

I am not sure who minted this coin, design it. any suggests would be helpful
