Another ebay thread

Haven't been on ebay for a while and went looking today cause I was bored I swear every 5th coin was a replica/copy! Can you believe that? Maybe I just hit it at the right time but I went through 10 pages and there was equal amount of both real coin, (i assume they are real but this is ebay we are talking about) and replica stamped coins. Its getting bad!

Well, eBay has driven off many legitimate sellers, due to their burdensome fee structure and buyer-friendly rules.

I was an eBay bronze powerseller for quite sometime, and I quit selling when they raised their fees and started requiring PayPal. I just started my own website, and I've started selling in other venues. True, it's much slower selling in the beginning, but I feel quite satisfied knowing that my money is going into my pocket, not eBay's.

They were good for the hobby, and now they're destroying it. I don't need to be an accomplice.

I was looking for three cent nickels yesterday and noticed the same thing, 10 replicas for every 1 real coin. Very sad.

I haven't been back to ebay for some time now, but when I was there, the amount of replicas were growing at an alarming rate. If the economy doesn't improve, we might all be getting replicas...
