Around what would I expect to pay for a non-key date silver wartime nickel? Like a 1943-P, 1944-D, 1945-S, or other dates...let me know, please. The higher grades you mentioned, maybe, at most, $2.00. These don't really start to pop in value until AU and/or full steps. Purchased a NGC 66 set for for $249 this year and believe that was a fair price. I love these coins and just wanted a nice set. First with only a couple dollars difference between circulated and uncirculated coins I would not buy one in circulated condition.
