I think the best find I've heard of was a $20 gold eagle | I dont know who would spend that.
Then again, I have heard of someone finding a 50$ Platinum Bullion Quote:

I certainly will! But I doubt it. lol | A drunk guy went into a Circle K and tried to buy a 12 pack, the cashier told him to wait and ran over to the coin shop a "few doors down" to see if it was real and it was so she accepted it.
I heard another story at the same shop about a guy who gave away a 1 oz platinum eagle to a kid that helped him get his car unstuck out of the snow..... was in his pocket.... lol

That is one nice IHC! Great find! I heard about a kid who went to a gas station to buy some cigs and paid with 12 silver washingtons.

Oposite happened me, I went to get smokes and the guy at the register thought he had some fake quaters (they were very circulated quarters between 1940s-1950s) and I told him what they were and got about 5 for mychange. wonder if I would have kept quiet if i could have gotten them all

Congrats on that find. I work retail but sadly in the stock room. I only get on the registers ever so often, and most people now a days pay with credit cards....
Regards,
Stan

I've found one at work too. It was in a changer that I was doing. I'm like you though. I break open coin rolls sometimes before I need them cuz I just have a feeling there will be something in there. Never is though. LOL
