WOW! Nice doubling at the date. I think a lot of the doubling around the bust and lettering is from die fatigue or die deterioration. Also, it is common for coins from this period to show doubling all around the lettering, some think it might be caused by the shoulder of the letter punch penetrating the die, as stated in the Doubled Die monologue posted in this forum.
But the date is a great example of a doubled die! Cool!
