oh well. that's not fair. the mint should change it to two coins for that. we got two coins for a president for two terms not consecutively. and we got also another two coins for pres. tyler two wives. yes why pres wilson two wives in one coin. maybe to create special coin for collectors.

Tyler was the only president to have two wives while in office. No other president can claim that.

the mint may try to equal the monroe spouse mintage. but again i doubt it. maybe add a little bit to the present figures. that's it.the future spouses will be based on the gold price. either big jump or big retreat. people will play that. then the mintage will pick up to 10,000 or over.

We probably won't see any kind of increase in these until possibly Abes wife, but if not there, we won't see anything until FDR's wife and beyond. These are the ladies that most Americans can relate to and will find interesting. But if the price of gold continues to increase, I don't think it will matter how much these ladies are liked and respected, no one is going to buy these coins other than the die hards and it is becoming very obvious how many die hards are out there. Just look at Elaines latest numbers.

Will someone please give Spock a history lesson. Yes, we will see two First Spouse coins from the same president, but this time it will be the same first spouse. Grover Cleveland was president for two terms, just not consecutive and he was married to the same woman for both terms. Tyler only served one term, but had two wives during that period.
