the spouses gold series and the american buffaloes are made of .9999 fine and 24 K gold. the whole world are always looking for 24 K gold. but we american instead like the american eagle gold. the content is .9167 fine and 22 K gold. anyway. we should respect the spouses gold. they were the first lady of this great land. beside that, it's all artistically made. and it is made in u.s.a. i wonder why so few people buy them. anyway. this series with very few pieces made will be great in the future. i see many times mark up than any american gold coins.

american eagle content 91.67% gold, 3.00% silver and 5.33% copper.
american buffalo & spouses gold content 99.99% gold, 0.01% copper.
millions of american eagle were sold. the highest spouses gold is only 20,000 pieces and the low so far is a little bit more than 2,000. what a mintage?. what more can i ask for?. even the UHR double eagle gold is more than 62,000.

all the spouses gold were low mintage. even at 20,000. someday you can be proud of having one of this great artistic gold coin. the price should be well adjusted to a higher very much profitable end.

I wish I could afford some of these, because they MAY be an overlooked coin that gets lots of mark up in future years....
Alas, out of my budget. I've got 2 gold coins and that won't be increasing anytime soon I'm affraid.
