I think like alot of us who find great coins in change or rolls he was showing it off. Nopt bad for a buck i would say

There's a different variety for the 99 SBA coin the date is close to the rim that;s the one that is worth a nice premium look for that one in ciculation,

Isn't it that the rim is thicker or is it that the date is closer?

Yes it;s called wide rim near date variety here is one example. The one to the left is the normal rim the one to the right is the wide rim variety

That has happened to me a few times to, or when i go to use them as a dollar the cashier thinks it is a quarter, til I point out that is a dollar, lol.

I thought that was too obvious to need to say. I read a little resentment in posts like that. I pulled it from change a few years back and thought it was a nice example from circulation. Every post doest have to be a $10,0000 beuaty.

Maybe you want to see this instead?
