Question Kennedy Half Dollar Missing Clad Layer

Hello,
I am not a coin collector, and I have little knowledge of coins. I work in a bank, and a regular customer of ours, who orders a large box of half dollars each week to look through, recently brought in a very interesting coin. It was a Kennedy half dollar that was missing a clad layer. The one that was present was the side with the head. I know that there are unauthentic fake ones like this, but, assuming it is real, does anyone know what the approximate value would be? I am sorry that I do not know the date, but I would appreciate any thoughts you may have. I am really curious about it! Thank you.

Howdy villevgirl - Welcome to the Forum !!

First thing to do is to find out if it is genuine. You can usually do that by weighing the coin. If you do not have a scale, take it to a jewelry store and they can weigh it for you. You need the weight to with 0.01 grams.

It would also help if you could post pictures of the coin for value would be largely dependant on the condition or grade of the coin.
