Roman Coin - Republic or Empire?

Hi,

Can anyone identify this ancient Roman coin? My research reveals nothing. Could it be a denarius or an antoninianus? Any specs about the coinage would be appreciated --- whether it's trash or treasure. Thanks, Dave.
