    US Mint Issue Prices

I've gotten great responses the last time I asked for some issue prices, so hopefully someone out there can help! I have my Red Book, which has all my proof set prices, but I can't find a few of these anywhere. First is my 1/10 Oz Platinum Eagles. I'm trying to find the issue prices for all years 1997-2007 (I'm still waiting on 2008!). Second, I have both uncirculated and proof 1999 Susan B. Anthony dollars. Finally, I have a First Day of Issue Sacagawea Dollar. I'd really appreciate it if anyone out there had any of the original issue prices. I know I should have been keeping track of this all along, but I guess I was just dumb!

    Thanks!

    DMAN...

I have all of the Platinum coins from 1997 thru 2007....I never save the Mint receipt whenI get them.....wish I could help but tis not the case. What I can say is that the 2004 Proof is a special coin and will be even more valuable in the future than it's current going price of ~ 1200.00

What a beautiful set....I got into Paper Money and let the 2008 coins slide...ughhh I will have to find them if possible!

I can somewhat help out here. I purchased the Susan B proof back in '04 or '03 for around $8 from the mint. I also purchased the unc.'s but forget what I paid. Unlike Rickie I save all of my receipts(LOL)...have to dig through them to give you a more definitive answer.

Supposedly the 2008 coins aren't gone. I was told by a mint official on Friday that they hope to bring the Platinum Eagles back sometime in October.

Cool, I really appreciate it. I remember it being somewhere around $8-$10, but I can't remember the exact price either! Click here to enlarge

The Sac FDC was 19.95 from the mint. As far as the SBAs go, I did buy both the proof and unc sets from the mint, but don't have the original prices. I can try to confirm those prices for you.
If you have a question, please ask. Remember, there are no stupid questions....just stupid people who ask questions.

Thanks for your help. Pretty much the only items I still need issue prices for are the platinum eagles and a 1971 Unc. Ike Dollar that I don't even remember buying!

    Thanks again!

What do you think of the silver proof sets? Can anyone find a lower price?
