I am looking for a web site that lists the price of coins and coin sets sold by the US Mint going back to 1970. I have mint and proof sets dating back from 1970 and wonder what the original cost was.

Welcome to the forum, I use the " The Official Red Book" but you can also look up the issue prices from the mint at (http://www.bestcoin.com) They list all sets from 1936 till now.
Hope this helps.

Seeslo, I go to the site you indicate, click on the pricing guide (center top) scroll down to the bottom and find a proof set price guide with issue price and current price.....this what you mean?

Seeslo, If you are having trouble with the link on the proof sets, try this one, it goes directly to the proof set prices. http://www.bestcoin.com/us-proof-sets.htm
Hope this helps, Bill
