Does Anyone Here Collect Conder Tokens?

I think I might dive into collecting Conder Tokens and am considering the 2004 edition of D&H. The only thing that brings me pause about buying the book is the price - $188!

Here is my first Conder token bought recently. If you have some, post a pic or two.

This is a 1795 Half Penny Middlesex (England) DH414 Pidcocks "Exibition" (note mispelling, no "h"). Pidcock's show was one of several popular travelling menageries or wild beast shows that drove through towns. Since people didn't travel much then, this was a source of entertainment. Pidcock was one that owned exotic animals and this token advertised his show while also serving as small change in circulation

Don't collect them but I have a few.
Love the fact that you can get a REAL nice example from the late 1700s that may have circulated here in the states cheap.

AWESOME example you have there Catbert!

Conder tokens are really cool stuff. I like the fact that you can get something that old, with its own little piece of history attached to it, fairly cheap. I have only got a few, but I'll post them here:

That's an awesome token , I'd probably buy a couple as they are really nice looking , and not too exspensive .
