Hi everbody!

I started collecting pennys at the age of 12. I had a door to door paper route for a small town weekly. I would buy a roll of pennys, search and buy another. I still have the original collection, which is now over 40 years old.

I put off collection for several years and have now gotten the World Coin Bug. I have over 1000 different coins from about 150 different countries.

I am currently putting together a collection of Silver Bullion coins from all over, as soon a the Royal Mint sends me my 2008 Britannia, which I've been waiting for 2 months, I will have the complete set from 1997 to date.

Now for the question. I purchased a 2008 Silver Eagle which came in a 2X2 flip. When I was removing the staples I scratched the coin. After a few tears I orderd another and this time was extra careful. Other than now being worth only the current value of Silver, is there any hope for the coin?

Thanks
