Smile Cointalk Newbie saying hello

Hello everybody!

I'm Svein from Norway.
I'm a collector of ancient Greek and Roman coins - I've been most focused on Romans this year, and haven't really figured out ho to build a collection of ancient Greek coins.

I also collect Norwegian coins - dates after 1875 and types pre 1875.
That collection hasn't been moving forward much the last year, as there is a too high demand for those coins for me to compete at the moment.

I also collect US, English and French types, and have a "Europe" and "World" album as well.

Needless to say, I consider myself a coin nerd.

I use my collection as a gateway to history. Whenever I get a new coin, I sit down and study it, and let it take me back to the time when it was minted. That's the greatest part of this hobby, I think, and what keeps me going on and on, finding new topics spending my milk money on.

I have been posting on other boards using the handle "svessien", mostly on the ebay Coins & Paper money board, but also CU.

I hope to meet new friends here, who shares my coin interests - especially for ancient coins.

Well, I guess that's it for now:-)

Svein
