Smile Hi, Everyone

I've been snooping around here for a few weeks. I hope you don't mind.

I'm new to all of this...I had a large collection of various coins, which we'd been saving to cash in. At the last minute, I decided to check the internet for "valuable coins", which quickly led me to being hooked.

So far, I've purchased a 10x loup and a strong lamp, and have been studying Lincoln cents, after separating all the years as much as possible.

No one warned me this is a huge addiction!! I haven't had this much fun in a long, long time. I seem to be having a problem photographing with my camera. How on earth do you all do it? All I get in the "zoom" feature is a big blur, but hopefully, I can learn without having to purchase a new camera.

With what little I've learned so far, I'd like to say that I admire each and every one of you for getting all this down. There is so much to learn, and the biggest hurdle of all seems to me to be the difference in die doubling.

Hope I won't be a burden to all of you who know this inside and out, as I learn, and thanks for being here! I've really enjoyed this forum so far.
