Open advertising now ready

Members are now able to post advertising. This is an open category where you can post an ad for anything that coin collectors and dealers visiting the forum might be interested in seeing.

Well I don't know if this is allowed - or not. If not you may contact me and delete this message. I have noticed at guns shows that they have more than "just guns" - ie. there are coins booths, etc. Some items just fit in, while others do not.

I am also a gem/mineral collector - ie. rockhound. I have lots of crystals that I put up on eBay when I am energetic. Mined myself in Arkansas. Anyway, if anyone has a need for some crystals hollar at me.

I am also thinking of selling some Kennedy coins - .999 silver, I believe.....they are not US Mint coins, I don't think. In fact, I am not sure what they are yet. I haven't had time to research. Each coin has a pic and little description about John F. Kennedy's life. One of them is beautifully toned. There are a bunch of them - all different. They are really nice, but I want to sell them to pay for books and magazines subscriptions about coins. I bought them at a gun show a few years ago. Forgot what I paid for the whole set, but it wasn't dirt. If anyone is interested, hollar at me.

I am also going to be selling some other coins soon because I am revamping - so will update this later.

If you want to see a PIC of the toned coin from the set (17 coins total) Go to the Testing Area and view IMAGE FEATURE - by Byron Reed - the pics are in that thread, altho the scanner or digital cam neither did a good job. Think I need better lighting. There is no brown on the coin. The toning is not icky, but very pretty.

Yes, this is open advertising. You might get more attention, though, if you started your own thread and gave it an enticing subject line.

Why is it that when I attempt a new thread on this open board,I recieve "sorry,only users with special permission may post" is this in error? It would seem that the name isn't very fitting. :? Anyway how does one obtain permission? 8) I was going to list some of the EW services with an invitation.
