I refuse to collect Victorian sixpences or Edward VII sixpences cos they're all wreath reverse, and i just think the reverse is bland. Shields are my thing, anything with a shield and a crown on and i'm all there. I know the shield reverse sovereign has a wreath but the shield more than makes up for it cos it adds something, it escapes the blandness. I had a gorgeous Jubilee one, but the young head ones are the best cos they have a fancier crown. I was also partial to the George V shillings and sixpences with the lion on crown. Who could forget the Edward VII florin?
