Anyone going to purchase the new Bust Quarter reference book?

It is scheduled to come out in late July.

I've heard only 900 copies will be printed.

In time this might turn out like the Wiley Bugert book. Once the book comes out, more and more collectors will start collecting by variety, and it will be too late for them to purchase a book from the publisher,

I am interested to see the new rarity ratings, alot of scarcer R5 and R4 varieties are now thought to be easier to obtain.

Sure will be interesting!

Yes I'll buy one, and I don't even collect the series.

Yes, I've got the information...

EARLY UNITED STATES QUARTERS
1796 – 1838
By Steve M. Tompkins

In this monumental new hardbound work, printed and bound in the U.S.A., you will find 448 pages covering each year and the known die marriages, along with background of the early mint. Included are quick finding charts and pictorials, as well as, oversized color photos of every die marriage. Along with new rarity ratings and a new condition census, as an added bonus there are in-depth studies on the rare 1823’s and 1827’s (including pedigree's).
The appendixes are chock full of interesting information on among other things, quarter patterns, private re-strikes, error coins, and the mysterious E & L countermarks, along with several useful charts, die re-marriage listings, and much, much more!!

The finished book is slated to be back from the printer before the ANA show in Baltimore and is now on sale at an introductory pre-publication price of just $79.00 delivered. This price is only good until July 1st, at which time it will be raised to $89.00 plus postage. Get yours ordered today!

It would be VERY low on my priority list because I don't collect Bust Quarters.
I would like to have ALL the top references, but I'll start with the coin sets that I collect.

I just got an email back from Steve the other day regarding the book. Sounds like its going pretty good. I will commit to one if there is really an interest in asking for a quantity. I don't think there is alot of room however in the pricing since it is going to be a short run printing. I have heard 900 copies. Either way I will get my order in to Steve in the next few days.
