2007 P fully accessable nickel

While searching a case of nickels i found a disability ready Monticello there are no steps on Monticello making it truely accessable. Looking at it with a12x glass there is no sign of any steps just a smoth ramp. The coin is not beat up or worn, better shape than a lot of 2007's i have seen.

Rick,

I have seen a LOT of them this way. I think the Mint over-polished the dies to the point no steps are visible. The nickels are just as you explained - look new but no steps. The nickels in general seem a little brighter than normal (not quite mirror like but they look like they were polished to a nice shine) especially in the area of the steps. I have been paying particular attention to the steps in the 06 and 07 years as I have been putting some of the best with complete unbroken steps away.

BTW - I have yet to see an 08 in this area! I'm going through about $40 a week when I'm not traveling so I'm a bit surprised I have yet to see one. I would like to buy a few rolls if I could find any.

Best Regards

Darryl
