Heritage Auction info needed

Hi, I have recently bid on few coins on Heritage and i was wondering if they can combine shipping? i cannot find any info on the site neither to contact them via email or something..
Also, has anyone won anything from overseas . Will i receive my package?
If anyone is a long term user of Heritage can you please advice me on whats the best bidding time eg: IS it like ebay (sniping in last second?)

Any more info is welcome

Heritage will combine shipping on all of your items. You can view your invoices in your My Heritage page. This will show you all the invoice you have and will combine the shipping as well. As for bidding. I have seen on multiple occasions auctions go up fast the last few minutes so you will want to be around or have the most you want to pay for the item already entered.

Yes, they combine shipping. Look here -http://coins.ha.com/common/contactus...icID=21#answer
It is a little complicated, but all of their charges are there.

You can call Heritage direct if you like and ask any question you like. Their number is 1-800-872-6467 or 214-528-3500.

I have bid and won numerous coins from Heritage and consider Heritage auction as no way near the experience one would have with an ebay auction. I normally do not see a lot of sniping going on probably because the site is more for the serious collector.
I especially like the "My Collection" feature/portion of the site where my purchases are available and I can keep track of the information and current market value of my collections. You can even upload coins pictures and coin information of items not purchase on Heritage.

I usually place my bids on an item I want with the highest amount I am willing to pay. I trust them for high end purchases and the staff is very professional. They have combine shipping and shipping is usually very fast.

Do they combine shipping for different auctions? I have won numerous coins from them too, but always gets separate shipment for each auction. Sometimes they have 3 or more auctions or more per week.

There are occasional sniping, but not like ebay. Most of the items are expensive, not many bidders for them.

Don't know why they always charge tax for certain state customers even though some of the auctions are not held in that state.

Their customer service is very good, once I asked a question about an item, and one of their founders replied within one day.

I sure like Heritage's bidding process a lot better than Goldberg coins, or even Stacks. I despise Superiors, and Spinks.

Well, that's the truth ! Yes, there are some good people on e-bay, but Heritage is 100% professional.

That's true. Another reason - floor auctions, like the Long Beach show happening right now, close for internet bidding the night before. So no snipe is possible.

You can use Heritage Live to bid when the piece comes up on the floor, but that's almost like being there.

Be very, very careful if you do. Floor auctions move at a blistering pace, the price can go up by thousands of dollars in 2 or 3 seconds. So when doing live bidding and you place a high bid that you don't really intend to pay to try and get the coin, not really expecting your high bid to be maxed out, before you click and refresh the page it'll be all over and you'll owe more money than you planned on spending.

NOTE - this only applies to live bidding. Not regular internet bidding.

there is a hybrid solution to that problem. i agree 100% its foolish to trust technology liek that i would neer do it and i am an IT person. better to put the high amount just before your bid comes up they have a palce where you can do that

It happens to everyone when their max bid is the high bid.
