If I were a younger guy I'd try to get a job there. They really have their act together.

Ancient Coin Expert
Heritage Auction Galleries is seeking a talented numismatist with broad expertise in ancient coins to join our award-winning headquarters staff in Dallas. We want a professional with the drive and ambition to make Heritage the world leader in the ancient coins category, equivalent to our current standing in U.S. and world coins and currency. If you love ancient coins and have exceptional writing skills, there is no limit to the growth potential of this position. You can work with the most successful team of numismatists in the world.

Duties will include evaluating potential consignments, working with both collectors and dealers; cataloging of ancients and supervision of photography; assisting consignors in person and by telephone, both in Dallas and elsewhere; and developing marketing concepts for extending our client reach. Must be willing to travel to coin shows.

Excellent benefits and work environment. Salary will be commensurate with numismatic skills and experience.

I have bid on Heritage auctions, but not won yet, will see this week, there is an item I seriously want, and will go higher than usual for. I have bid on Stacks auctions, and lost on most, but won where it mattered. I am still waiting for my Millennia invoice, I should have 4 lots on that one.

obviously I am late to this thread, but for future reference if anyone has a Heritage question just call me at the office 800-872-6467 extension 1380 or email me at ChrisD@HA.com.

This past week I have been in Long Beach for the Show and auctions so I have been less attentive to CoinTalk than usual.
