My Mood: | 1916 Possible D Merc Dime? (big pictures)
This dime came with a lot of Merc dimes that I buy from someone on Ebay - he gives me good deals, usually at or slightly under melt
Its seen better days, that's for sure.
Most of the dimes he sends have some toning, most likely been in an album forever.
Possible D? Maybe, but as they say on the tootsie roll pop commercials... the world may never know
Thought I'd share |

It could have quite possibly have been one. You can always go buy a dremel tool and make your own "D".

Should have tried SGS. At least that way, if you still didn't get the "D", you would have at least gotten an AU-58 grade.

I would never recommend using it all, but you asked a question so I answered it.
