On September 13th, 2004, Anacs received 4 coins that I submitted for slabbing and certification. Two were Lincolns with S/S/S, large date/small varieties and the other two were Morgans. Anacs promptly billed my credit card within a week of receipt and then I waited...and waited...and waited
Now, I sent them under ecomony service thinking that 45 to 70 days is the norm (at least that is the case for PCGS, NGC and ICG), but here we are at 90 days and NO coins.
First, Anacs never emailed me or anything of the sort that my coins were received and only after I called them, did I find out that I will be lucky to get them before Christmas!
Well, that is the first and last time I will ever submit coins to Anacs. Their attitude was, "tough...what do you expect?". I purposedly have tried all of the top four grading services and Anacs probably has the poorsest service out of the four.
