I am closing in on one of my goals this year which was to assemble a complete set of US Mint Sets from 1965- date on a shoestring. I just finished off the 70s today when I bought a 78 set for $6. Weeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

I am wondering if anyone here has a better internet (auction or store) source for US Mint Sets pre-1964 than fleaBay?

I started from 64' and am working back, and ebay has been decent if you are patient.

Hey man, congrats! Best of luck with the earlier proof sets, don't think you will get many for $8. ;)

I think eBay is still your best bet.
Particularly look for items that close early in the week.
I think there's less competition those days.

Try the flea markets. You never know what will pop up there.
